What she saves

Nermi saves this information in a file on the computer that runs her. It is tied to Nerimity user and server IDs, not to real names.

About people

Coins, daily streaks, work and fishing timers, and shop items.
Your cat: its name, hunger, happiness and level.
Reputation points you give or receive, and when you last gave one.
Your AFK message, to-do list, reminders, and birthday (month and day only), if you set them.
XP and level in each server where XP is switched on. Only the numbers are saved, never what you wrote.
Votes in polls, giveaway entries, and suggestion votes.
Feedback you submit through the feedback form (your rating and comment), and warnings staff give you (the reason, who gave it, and when).

About servers

Settings that staff choose: prefix, welcome channel and text, log channel, auto-mod words and rules, starboard, counting game, level reward roles, and birthday channel.
Tags, suggestions, polls and giveaways that people create.
Activity counts: how many messages were sent per day and per hour. Only counts, no message text.

What she does not save

She does not write your normal chat messages to disk.
If staff switch on !logs, Nermi remembers the text of up to the last 2,000 messages in memory only, so she can show what an edited or deleted message said. This is lost whenever she restarts.
No advertising, no analytics, and no selling or sharing of data.

Removing your data

You can remove some things yourself: !todo clear, !birthday remove, !reminders cancel. Your AFK status also clears itself as soon as you talk again. For anything else, ask the person who runs Nermi to remove your data, and they can delete it. Removing Nermi from a server does not erase that server's saved data automatically, so ask if you want it gone.
